    Interviews move far beyond superficial connections. At best, an interview displays a student’s ability to truly OWN and even celebrate the best of their experiences from the past four years.

  • Eating on the Road...and at SLC

    Staying with friends and family while traveling feels marvelous, almost like an escape from the routine and mundane aspects of travel (as in eating). Fresh food is a bit of an oxymoron on the road, with enormous billboards advertising burgers and endless buffets of fried chicken and ribs.

  • A College Fair in Minneapolis: Speaking the Language of Sarah Lawrence

    The convention center is largely empty, save for a few admission officers wheeling boxes through the entryway. The room is foreboding, much like that of a warehouse with bright white lights and clean concrete floors. Tables and chairs fill rows of ‘cubicle’ spaces for each college, and there are literally hundreds in attendance.
