    Men's Basketball

  • Gryphons put forth solid effort at Met Champs

    Crew

On the heels of strong performances at the Dowling Alumni Cup Regatta, two Gryphons’ boats took to the waters of Glen Island, NY, to race in the Fall Metropolitan Championships on Sunday, November 7.

While the Gryphons took no first place finishes—the Women’s Varsity Four took fifth of five boats in their heat (the fastest heat of the day) and the Men’s Novice Four, fourth of five boats in theirs—the Gryphons exhibited tireless effort in the water and made Head Coach Patricia Patterson, and themselves, proud.

“Everyone was freezing and still exhausted from the previous day’s regatta,” Patterson said, “but they rallied and had a solid day.”
